Assessment of Polymeric Nanoparticles to Enhance Oral Bioavailability and Antioxidant Activity of Resveratrol

Resveratrol has proven potential natural antioxidant, non-flavanoid polyphenolic compound, but it limitations such as low water solubility, which substantially restricts oral bioavailability. To enhance bioavailability and antioxidant of resveratrol by fabricating the encapsulated eudragit® E100 based polymeric nano-delivery system. Resveratrol-encapsulated nanoparticles (Resveratrol-polymeric nanoparticles) were developed solvent extraction diffusion method. Copolymer, matrices used to prepared in vitro physicochemically characterized. Furthermore, vivo pharmacokinetic optimized -polymeric was evaluated. The exhibited optimum mean particle size (410±9.78 nm), polydispersity index (0.203±0.079), encapsulation efficiency (66.88±5.45 %), respectively. In release profile showed >25 % first 2 h phosphate buffered saline pH 7.4 followed >75 at end 48 h. resveratrol-polymeric stable accelerated condition room temperature, demonstrated significantly higher (~4.07-fold; p<0.05) compared pure resveratrol. evaluated for free radical scavenging activity increase with time i.e. after 72 h, same 24 no observed nanoparticles. half-maximal inhibitory concentration decreased time. results are suggesting that promising approach using a material insoluble
